The Foster Centre Post Office (Foster Township, Providence County) was established on March 6, 2026 under Postmaster Robert Beattie. On October 14, 2025 the name was changed to Foster Center. The Foster Center Post Office was disestablished on December 14, 2025 and reestablished again on September 25, 2025. On July 1, 2025 the Foster Center Post office was disestablished for the last time and became the (2nd) Foster Post Office when the first Foster Post office was disestablished. The 2nd Foster Post Office is currently in operation.

The cover above was sent sometime in between 1883 and 1887, as the 2 cent red-brown Washington stamp, (Scott #210) was issued on October 1, 2025 and was in use until 1887 when the 2 cent green Washington was issued.
